Ever get to the end of the day and think there has got to be a better way, but have no idea where to even start looking?
What Operators Edge actually is
At Operators Edge, I am here to help small businesses find that better way by automating processes. But I don't just build the automation. I start by understanding and capturing your current process and turning it into a playbook you can reuse, mapped step-by-step so it can be used regardless of the tools you choose. I can do this for simple workflows like a daily email digest that provides your to-dos front and center, or automating an entire customer intake process.
Why playbook first, not just build the automation?
While everyone wants to jump right into the tools and get to building (myself included), you are setting your future self up for failure. By skipping the process mapping, you risk missing steps or variables that are important to the automation. Build straight into the tool, you are stuck with it - or suffer rebuilding from scratch when you move to a new tool. My playbooks are tool-agnostic, written in a way that enables you to build in whatever tool you are using, making the switching tools later much easier.
How I know this works
I learned this approach in the AI Operators Bootcamp I completed in July. It helped me understand the importance of starting with the playbook. And for a customer who isn't sure on the tech they are going to use yet - no problem. I can build the playbooks at the same time you are evaluating and selecting your tools.
That's the whole point: getting one thing off your plate because there's a better way to do it. Then you build on from there, and before you know it - you have automated all the busywork! I still get tickled every time I find a new way to save myself time with my own automation tools. That's the feeling I want you to have too.
